손상우의 작업은 안개로부터 출발합니다. 빛에 따라 투명도가 달라지는 한지와 합성수지를 혼합해 만든 그의 작품들은 아련한 안개처럼 서정적인 아름다움을 전합니다. 안개를 닮은 이 형상들은 배치되는 공간과 쓰임에 따라 인간과 교감을 이루며 단순한 가구가 아닌 정신적인 세계와 물질적 세계를 잇는 특별한 매개체가 됩니다.  

Sangwoo Son’s work derives from mists. Through a mixture of synthetic resins and hanji that varies in translucency in light, his works communicate poetic beauty like a faint mist.
