엄윤나
엄윤나는 수공예적 요소와 실용적인 디자인을 결합해 공예 디자인 상품을 만드는 Knitster(니스터)의 디자이너이자 섬유 작가입니다. 시그니처 재료인 섬유 로프를 이용한 공예 디자인 상품을 제작함과 동시에 조형 언어적 실험을 담은 섬유 설치 작업을 발표하고 있습니다. 니스터는 ‘익숙함이 새로움과 가치를 만든다’를 모토로 수공예품이 사용자의 삶에 가치있는 따뜻함이 되기를 바랍니다.
Yoona Eum is a designer and a textile artist who intertwines craft arts and functional design to create a craft design product, Knister. She uses her signature material, textile rope, to create her craft design products and presents textile installations that reflects her experiments in the language of plastic arts. With ‘familiarity leads to new ideas and value’ as their motto, Knister hopes to bring a valuable warmth to the life of the users of their craft design products.
